Creating a Customer Account
What are the requirements to create a customer?
To create a customer account, we perform a staged KYC process:
- Step 1: Create the customer profile by entering basic information, such as the customer’s name and country. This can be done for both individuals and companies.
- Step 2: Complete the KYC by uploading necessary documentation, such as a passport or company director details. Once these documents are submitted, the customer’s account is reviewed, and, if approved, issued.

What are sub-accounts, and what can I do with them?
Sub-accounts are virtual bank accounts available on the HoneyCoin dashboard. These accounts allow users to issue and manage funds in multiple currencies, including USD, EUR, and KES, backed by a local bank. They provide flexibility for transactions in different currencies.
Virtual Cards
What are virtual cards, and what can I do with them?
The virtual card feature allows you to issue USD-denominated virtual cards, which can be used for both personal and company transactions. This feature is ideal for financial teams, as it includes permission settings and limit controls, allowing for efficient management of spending and budget allocation.
